Continuing Education at University of Pretoria Trust (CE at UP) is committed to the highest standards of social and business practices. The delivery of success to our shareholders, clients and beneficiary (Enterprises at University of Pretoria Trust) results from the efforts of our people - it is their resourcefulness, professionalism and dedication that gives CE at UP its leading edge in the continuing education area. To this end, all Trustees and employees are expected to observe the highest standards of integrity in the conduct of CE at UP’s business.
A Code of Business Ethics has been compiled in accordance with the common values shared by all involved in the business of CE at UP, the general principles of law and internationally accepted ways of doing business ethically. In addition, comprehensive systems of control have been introduced to ensure that in attaining the objectives of CE at UP, we behave professionally, legally, ethically, appropriately and sustainably.
Our Code of Business Ethics should act as a guideline to employees as to what is expected from them from an ethical point of view, both in their individual conduct and in their relationship with others (internal & external). Compliance with this Code can be expected to enhance professionalism and help to secure confidence of the entity’s employees.
